Hi, I’m Larry Roach. Like many seniors, I wanted to supplement my retirement income—but building an online business wasn’t easy at first.
I struggled for years with complicated tools, empty promises, and too much tech. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed or skeptical, I understand.
I finally found some things that work and I keep trying new things. One thing I am trying now is My Lead Gen Secret. I thought I would share what I am finding with you.
I am currently testing MLGS as a source of traffic. I am promoting a simple free funnel that has the potential to make a lot of money. I am emailing every day using MLGS as my source of leads.
My results, current as of 10/22/2025, are shown below.
(Hint: They are pretty bad. Nowhere near as good as I had hoped.)
I asked ChatGPT to help me design a calculator that I could use to play around with the numbers to see what should happen. The calculator is below, so you can play around with the numbers, too, if you would like to do that.
One reason I was concerned is that the quality of the leads from MLGS is not very good. Offsetting that is the fact that the size of your list can grow pretty fast. I know that the conversion rate is likely to be pretty low, but I am hoping that the volume can make up for that.
I am listing my current average numbers here (as of 10/22/2025), after 21 days of sending emails every day.
- Open Rate: 7.747%
- Click-Thru-Rate: 8.655%
- Conversion Rate: 0.0238%
I am hoping that the conversion rate will improve to at least something like 0.5% (that's 1 sign up out of 2,000 people who read my emails). After 19 days, my actual conversion rate is "0.0251", which, obviously is not good. In the past 21 days I have sent a total 627,900 emails and have gotten 4210 clicks and 1 sign up.
I put those numbers into the calculator below to see what would happen if I were starting from scratch (I already have an account, hence the big number of emails sent so far).
As you can see (below), the calculator says that if I were starting a new account with 100 leads to start, then based on my current numbers I would break even after nine months and, if I were to just keep on doing it and the numbers stayed the same, at the end of a year I would have a net profit of $197.37 and $103.15 per month income from sales through my MLGS list. All I would have to do is send one email per day, which takes about 5 minutes.
Pretty bad! I was hoping for much better. However, my plan is to keep doing it at least until the end of the month. It looks like it could be profitable in the long run. I will continue to work on improving my open rate, click thru rate, and, especially, my conversion rate numbers and see what happens.
As I mentioned above, I am updating this information every day in case you want to follow my progress.
Obviously, if my results are good, I will recommend MLGS source of traffic for this kind of offer.
